Verified Badges
What does a verification badge mean and NOT mean?
Hash Axis may issue verified badges to notable persons, businesses or organizations. A verified badge not an endorsement from us, nor a warranty or guarantee of any promises made by the account holder about value or utility of listed tokens.
At its core, verification is a way for people to know that the notable accounts or collections they are searching for are exactly who they say they are.
Simply put, verification signals an account or collection belongs to the entity it represents.
How do I become verified?
To be verified, you must follow our Terms of Service and meet a majority of the below metrics including:
– Confirmed notable volume traded by authentic and unique accounts
– Being a highly searched-for person, business or organization
– Having a robust community following
– Be representing or represented by a publicly traded company or subsidiary of one
What happens when we detect a suspicious or malicious verification?
If we find that verification was acquired in a malicious way, we will take action. We conduct regular sweeps both on and off the platform to find and remove malicious actors.
What type of accounts are ineligible for verification?
– Parody, newsfeed, commentary, and unofficial fan accounts
– Accounts engaged in severe violations of our Terms of Service
– Accounts of individuals or groups associated with coordinated harmful activity, or hateful content
Can verification stop downloads of attached NFT media and reminting?
No. Anyone can download the media from any NFT and save, upload or remint it anywhere else. However, on Hedera each new mint always has a unique Token ID and serial number, so unauthorized duplications will never have the same Token ID as the originals and will never appear on verified accounts nor on the hashaxis.com/verified page.
In accordance with our Terms of Service, we may remove the Verified status of an account at any time without notice.
